Clicking noise from engine

I've had good luck fixing the issues with this car myself, and I'm far from a mechanic...My car hit 150K miles and has never needed a mechanic to fix it, so thank you all for all the continued advice!

So recently, I noticed my car makes a weird clicking noise that speeds up and slows down with the RPMs, and the faster it is, the louder it is... Wanna know what it sounds like?

Click your mouse as fast as you can... sounds just like that. Seems to be coming from the driver's side, though I could be wrong... Also, it only appears to occur when the car is in motion, not when it's idling...

Sometimes it doesn't happen, but at lower speeds it seems to happen a lot, high speed, like 65+ MPH, I don't hear it...

Anybody had similar issues or advice on what to look for? (keep in mind I'll need either pictures, diagrams, or descriptions of what I'm looking for) ... tomorrow should be a cool day, I'll try to take a video if I can make it happen while it idles

The only time I had a sound like that was when I put too much Seafoam in my gas tank. I drove it around then refilled the tank and the sound went away. Hope that helps.

check the oil you may be low and at higher speeds the oil is lubricating due to higher pressures but at lower speeds the pressure isn't great enough to provide enough lubrication.

I filled my tank up and got a routine oil change done and that appears to have solved the issue. I think it was more the oil as I had filled up once before with no change . Thanks guys for everything!

I'm glad to hear it's fixed. I would keep an eye on the oil levels!
