Has the intake been dynoed yet?

By the pictures, it looks as though this intake would restrict airflow more than the stock setup. Maybe it's the heat shield, but it looks very "closed-off" in the pics.

actually i thought the airfilter cone was heatshielded from UT. But I went ahead and fit in within the stock intake box anyway. It's working fine, Id say.

i dunno. it looks very pretty...but looks like it would lose power for some reason. looks very restrictive and would definitely benefit from a heat blocking box that completely seperates the cone from the engine heat.

Definitely looks great but I too question functionality as well as price. After all one could get the exact same effect from a JWT Pop Charger or a Stillen High Flow Air Box. The stock air box (and the Stillen one for that matter) draw from the air dam and tire well too I believe which IMO is more functional. An air intake that incorporates these aspects of some sort that is shorter yet draws cold outside air would be great (maybe ducting running behind the grill, or a functional hood perhaps!). Ohhhh and I'd love to see someone get rid of the MAF tube and create a low restriction MAF for the G like they have for some other cars out there. Just some intake thoughts .

By the way I love the carbon fiber tube! I'll definitely have to save up and order one.
