Two different versions of radiator for 2003 G35 Sedan?

Finally after exactly 217,000 miles my radiator started to leak....

Not wanting to go OEM because of cost $466 tried other sources. It appears that there are two version of the radiator. Sedans build prior to Oct 2003 have a different one listed on my sites.

for example, koyorad.com shows two different parts and their details diagram shows that prior to Oct 2003 they are around 2" narrower .

However, Nissan/Infiniti part # 21460-AQ800 is what the dealer shows for my car which is the same for models 2003-2007. I have the early build model in March of 2002..... which most websites show I have a different radiator.

Anyone here have any more info on this?

thanks,
tom

I swapped out my 2003.0 sedan rad a couple years ago with a koyo oem "replacment" one from ebay. It would make sense that the earlier version shows it being 2" narrower so it would clear the clutch fan that the earlier year sedans have.

Yes that would make sense.. what doesn't make sense is why Nissan shows part # 21460-aq800 for the replacement................. and shows this part for all G35 Sedans 2003-2006...
Even when I give them my VIN they still show that part #.. But if there are two versions, why only one part #? If I need one that is shorter, will this one fit!??????

Good question. Sorry I can't answer it. I never looked into it that extensively when I purchased my replacement.

You can try calling the ebay supplier and see if they have any insite on it
