Cat Bracket

Hey guys,

I recently swapped some MP headers onto my car and i had to re-drill the driver side cat bracket hole, but admittedly I didn't do the best job lol.

Because of this, the bolt rattles in the hole and its driving me crazy.

If i remove the cat bracket, will it cause damage to the car/exhaust to not have it on while driving? I've put a lot of $ into the exhaust and don't want to F it up because I can't stand a little rattle lol

Any advice is appreciated!

I can try, I'll see if I can machine down a rubber stopper or something.
Any idea if its bad for the exhaust? My set-up doesn't have any flex areas in it so its under constant tension

Fabricated a rubber spacer to go between the two plates, so far its not rattling, but we'll see how long it lasts
