Shifting issues after new clutch & pressure plate

Just had new clutch and pressure plate installed and now shifting into 5th & 6th is sticky where it has always been smooth. Thoughts?

Who ever did the install is a pathetic excuse for a mechanic. They slapped it together, took your money and send you out the door. They should have test drove the vehicle and realize they need to realign the shifter plate.

I passed this info on to the mechanic and he said the shifter plate was not touched when they replaced the clutch and pressure plate. Is that correct?
