ay man sp i just swapped my 6 speed g35 motor that had a knock from an a/t motor do i need to relfash my ecu now?

Just to clear it up.

Any engine computer moved from another car will have to be dealer reprogrammed to match your original BCM and keys. Unless you send the donor engine computer to UPrev and have the Nats security removed.

You must keep the same ECU and engine wire harness together. They change minor things in the wiring from year to year. For example: If I swap my 2004 G35x and 2005 G35x engine computers between my cars I loose electronic throttle control because the wire harness is different between the two cars. So yes the engine harness and ECU must stay matched unless you research the complete wiring diagram to make sure every wire is identical.

Type of engine: There are two engines in 03' to 06' cars #1 VQ35DE #2 VQ35DE revup. They are not interchangeable unless the engine harness, ECU, BCM, and keys are moved with the engine. Engine #1 VQ35DE has only intake cam sensors (total of 2). Engine #2 VQ35DE Revup has intake and exhaust cam sensors (total of 4).
