Anything over 400whp on either a turbo or supercharger setup will strain the engine. I went the supercharger route.. vortech.. hit 370hp to the wheels and 320tq.. on stock engine... turbos will always give you more torque, but you gotta think about building the engine then.. but if you want a safe fun setup then go with the supercharger.. and just so you know.. there is never enough horsepower.. at the beginning i loved the power on tap, and the noise of the supercharger.. but after a year or so.. I wanted more power.. then you gotta think about bigger injectors, better ecu, building the engine, smaller pulley.. etc etc etc.
