Quietest HFC/test pipe options for supercharged G coupe with Motordyne exhaust?

Hey guys,

I know this question seems a bit irrelevant considering I will be running a Vortech supercharger with a Motordyne TDX2 exhaust, but I'm trying to control what I can. I'm ok with my current exhaust loudness with OEM cats, but I'd prefer it to be quieter if possible, so anyone has a good idea, please let me know.

Also,If my set-up will run fine with OEM cats, then I'd just stay that route, but I'm a bit worried about the OEM cats burning out...or...is that something to even worry about? I've read that the OEM cats would be the bottleneck of the entire set-up. Then again I've also been told the OEM cats are built pretty tough. In regards to a bottleneck, how much of a bottleneck are we talking about here...a 20-30hp loss at 7000rpms.....I can live with that bottleneck for a quieter set-up.

So, if I must go with some type of HFC/test pipe option what would be the most ideal way to keep things quieter besides going with a whole new exhaust? Test pipes, resonated test pipes, HFCs, or resonated HFCs? Please include brand suggestions as well. Thank you.
