Best way to operate N/A with Vortech?

Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with running the VQ engine NA (naturally aspirated) with a Vortech? If so, what is the best way to go about this and would there be any issues? I'm trying to break-in a rebuilt engine and want to avoid boost as much as possible for the break-in period. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Ok I can remove the rear belt. Will there be any issues with how the car runs though with this rear belt off? What should I expect? Thanks.

my friend had a map so he could run without the boost. hopefully you can afford to do this. maybe it will be expensive. But I think if you dont have a map that compensates for no boost you will be running very rich.

No issues with the belt off but i think i read you had larger injectors then stock so it will run pig rich and be sluggish. You need to get it tuned asap or dont drive it very much at all....and get the oil changed right after the tune.
