03 g35 weird cam position sensor problem

Ok guys , the other day while driving our 03 g35 sedan it just cut off, hard to start back and was showing the vdc/slip light was on along with the service engine soon light... Ok figured it was the Cam sensor so. Scanned it and it was showing bank 1 so I ordered one from rock auto and just put it in. Cleared all the codes and upon start up it was still hard to start but not as bad as before, I drove the car around a little bit cut it on and off a few times and it still was a little hesisitant on start up. Went and parked the car for a few and re started it and damned if the vdc/slip light is back on and so is the service engine light and when I check the codes it is showing the bank 1 cam sensor again... The sensor I used is a Delphi has anyone had problems with bad sensor from them right from the box? Thanks in advance for any help guys!

OEM sensors for sure. But I'd rather get them from some place you can keep returning until you get one that works. If this ACTUALLY is the problem-- it's pretty well known just replacing it once will almost never work. Took me about 6-8 to fix my issue.

To be fair, I had a bunch of other **** going on. A list of mods would be helpful if you got something major going on (ie boost / ecu)
