Due to the setup Shawn uses at Church Automotive ... his wideband O2 tail-pipe sniffer needs to be corrected (see attachment). The thin white line is the average correction factor vs. rpm.
So, you're actual AF looks more like the following:
2000 rpm - 14.4 (acutal AF)
3000 rpm - 13.5
4000 rpm - 14.0
5000 rpm - 12.6
6000 rpm - 12.3
6700 rpm - 11.6
You should be able to confirm this when Brian or Tadashi attach their O2 sensor to your oem bung. You need to add a lot more fuel below 5000 and back it off towards the top.

The Dynapack software has the ability to allow one to input their 'drivetrain correction factor' (if known) in arriving at the 'Flywheel figures'. Since this correction factor is not known, it is left at 1.0 (zero correction) ... so the Flywheel figures are that of the rear axle figures (hp and tq).
Same price as the 2003 flash. $595 for coupes and sedan manual transmissions. $495 for sedan automatics. We are still looking for 2005 testers for all G35's and we're also looking for 2004 sedans and any G35x.

I wish I lived close to Technosquare. Just like others, I too worry about the possibility of having to mail the ECU back and forth for adjustments. Would love to be there to tune and get it over with!
has anyone seen this "possible problem" of the '04 reflash? jus' thought i'd bring it up. seems kind of "iffy" on both parties, but you guys make your own decision.

The problems with that issue is the guy is not taking into consideration that his Borla may be sucking in outside air into his exhaust. The Borla exhaust is held on just by clamps. It has tendancies to shift and move and can leak air. Harry just refuses to get his O2 taken before his cats so there's nothing I can do to convince him that his car is running fine. If I used the flash on 3 local cars with the same mods as his and they are running 13.5 AFR at 3k rpm and 12.5 AFR at redline (all of three of them), then why would his be an exception to run lean? Anyway, I've done everything I could with Harry Shoemaker as you can see on 350zmotoring, the horse is already dead.

Case in point,
Look at my A/F readings here, and I strongly suspect that I have an exhaust leak (know almost for sure). The measurements were taken at the tailpie at Church Automotive. The three traces are for three different boost levels; top to bottom: 6.5 psi, 5.x psi, 4.3 psi

This is on my first stock engine. My onboard pre-bung AEM wideband was withing .5 in all three runs and was FLAT accross the board... Notice how the lean measurements are accentuated with high boost and rpm.

so brian, are we saying that all the bugs have been worked out, and it is do-able to reflash an '04? if one is in so cal, and gets a reflash, and then gets dynoed, but it hasn't worked out, what would it take to get retuned?
