What is the best balance between drifting and high speed cornering (diff question)
I'm wondering what would be the best in terms of a balance between drifting and high speed cornering. I know a 1.5 way would lock up pretty good, and the 2 way even better, but how will it affect cornering? My guess is that it would want to understeer more? A welded diff would lock up good too but it think that would hinder high speed performance/stability quite a bit. Also would an aftermarket vlsd improve high speed performance and in locking up when drifting substantially?
Anyways I'm sorry if you guys have been over this a bunch of times, but I've done alot of searching and haven't found the answer I'm really looking for. I understand that when it comes to diffs it's usually one or the other, but I'm really looking for a diff option that is equal to or greater than OEM for high speed performance, and is much better for drifting/locking up. Thanks for reading, I appreciate any feedback I can get.

hahahaha please post a video of your drifting and be careful Vin Diesel will get you......and are you talking about an aftermarket LSD?
If you and Vin do line up maybe he'll high speed corner and you can drift around him and everyone will be waiting at the finish line cars parked perfectly backed in and naked b*tches everywhere......

Yes, but ultimately I'm looking to see if there's a diff that will spin both tires and maintain the same daily driving/highway stability of the OEM diff or at least close to it.
I think you should first go to some drifting events at your local track, you don't even neeeeeed an lsd to drift. Go see if you enjoy it, and see if it's a hobby you really want to be spending tons of money on. It is tons more expensive than road courses (tires, body damage). Go ask people there with more drifting experience what LSD you should run.
I would google around some, or check out any of the drift specific forums (or zilvia for that matter). Probably don't need to ask the question, just search through the forums, I'm sure it's been covered in depth. I don't know the answer or I'd give to you, but I'm sure it's out there.
When all else fails call up the guys at your favorite supplier of aftermarket parts and ask.
