Idle issues

hi i have a 2004 g35 coupe auto. whenever i cold start the car it dies out right away. it seems like the idle is very low. if i hit the gas a few times and it stays started . and idles around 200 rpms. After a couple days of this, my service engine light came on. My buddy has a scanner and the code said it could be a bad fuel sensor. i did recently change the battery and got an hks rep exhaust. idk if this is a known issue and is it something easy i could fix, whatever it might be... i dont want to take it to a shop. but its getting really frustrating. any advice? thanks

Search "Idle Reset!" If you leave the battery disconnected for too long the ECU forgets why it's there and what it's supposed to do resulting in a low idle! You'll need to take your G to Nissan to replace the sensor, very few options.
