There've been like 2 guys who did it.. You'll need headwork and high comp pistons, as well as a full stand alone EMS to maximize your gains, but you can make 300-330 whp NA

edit: and rev to like 8500

What about cams anybody would of approve of ?
Many stage 3 type cams always note the poor idle just wondered how this equated to an everyday use car. Any experiences appreciated.

I really wish this forum had a search feature. Best was a guy on my350z putting down 320whp with ITBs, built motor, jwt cams, and stand alone ecu. IvoryGT was first G35 to do it I think, but he was also running a stroker motor and hit about 320whp too. Ran into tons of issues getting the ITB synced, not sure if he ever got it worked out or not. Plus you cant run open bells, so you still need someone to fab a filter setup and custom intake.

You are looking in the 10-15k range to do it right for about a 50-70hp gain. Basically if you have to ask about it, you probably cant afford it.

Top Secret VQ ITB

Depends on your build/goals for the car/budget for supporting mods... usually we bump the idle a bit when we install aggressive cams as well

It is all a pipe dream anyways. The days of high quality G35 builds are over. No one is going to come and do a 15k-20k dollar build on their 10k dollar car.

Exactly, its not worth that kinda money anymore, & honestly the gains are so low on NA builds its never worth it. For half the money you can go FI and have double the power. Its a win win situation.

I am looking for a 50-70BHP gain. The cars are rare in the UK so it is really a fun project for me and I'm not to bothered that the cars are cheap to buy now. The car came from Japan with Decats, Plenum, Headers and Exhaust. So it was just a matter of deciding the next options. The Jenvey Kit in the UK is 2000GBP and cams 600-1000GBP whereas a supercharger is around 5-6000GBP - all before fitting setup.

So I kinda thought it was a good option. I had seen the cheaper turbo kits but there seemed to be negativity in most reviews. But any solid suggestions for the gain I am looking for would be appreciated - other than NOS.

-Most supercharger kits come with most everything you need to install. ITBs and cams are just the start of what you need to go that route.
-SC kits can be found used much much cheaper here and mailed to you.
-SC kits are easy to install and there is a source of knowledge if something goes wrong. If something goes wrong with the ITB (and it most likely will) you are SOL because no one will be able to help you.
-In the end you will end up paying double, with triple the difficulty installing and end up with half the power.

Best bet, it to check the marketplace, find a good used vortech v3 kit.
