New Engine Install

Hello fellow G owners! I've got a built long block ordered from IPP (can't f#$king wait!) and I'm expecting it to be here before too much longer. Since I'm a procrastinator and wait until the last minute to do things, I'm just now getting everything ready for the swap. Can someone help me on what all to change in terms of related components such as water pump, timing chain, tensioner, spark plugs of course, etc? I've got the general idea, but I'd like a second opinion just to see if I'm missing anything. I'm also going to be running Royal Purple break-in oil for the first 500-1000 miles, then continue running normal RP after that. Any comments and help is GREATLY appreciated!

P.S. On an off topic if anyone is familiar with the MotorDyne products, I recently ordered a 5/16" Copper Iso Thermal Plenum, and I was debating on ordering the MRev2 lower plenum as well since this seems to be the best combination, but I'm on an 04 nonrevup 6MT DE. Would the lower plenum be worth it for the money, or is there another aftermarket lower plenum I could run? Opinions is greatly appreciated on this too!

Since you are an 04 nonrevup 6MT you will not need the MREV2 lower plenum.

Why are you swapping in a built block? Are you turbo or supercharged?

I'm curious, why not RP? Unless I'm wrong, that's some of the best oil you can buy, even though it's slightly over-priced..

Thank you for the comment on the lower plenum as well.

U need to break it in on dino oil at least. I don't trust the RP hype from things I've read.

I had a motor swap as well (although I did not do it). My mechanic recommended new thermostat, radiator hoses pulleys, belts, spark plugs.. etc. My long block came with a full timing chain which included the oil and water pump. you may also wanna go ahead and swap all the sensors and also the IVT solenoids while your at it My engine builder required a oil change at 500 and 1000 with good old dino 5w-30. I switched to Asoil XL at 4k miles or so
