Calling ALL DATALOGGERS...
While it is common knowledge that our cars adjust to varying conditions, has anyone actually datalogged the changes?
Anyone care to share some data?
At what coolant temp/ air inlet temp is timing pulled? When can full advance be expected?
Any data regarding timing being pulled during shifts? (5at) How soon before/after?
Thanks,
Wayne.

I do have a datalogging system. IN the near future you will be able to upgrade to many more inputs than the total of 6 llowed now. So, now I datalog A/F, RPM, Inj. Duty Cycle, MAF voltage, Intake Air Temp, and Throttle Position. Timing will be available in a future upgrade. It is a more complicated one, as you need a reference from two soorces, the crank angle sensor AND ignition signal. The latter is already used for rpm.
The questions that you posed are ones that I have been trying to answer for a while, and almost all of them are dependent on loggin timing.. Lets hope that this will be sooner than later...

the obdii loggers are not the same as real time, direct off-the-sensor datalogging. I ahve tried AutoTap, and it was a joke, got one sample per second for EACH parameter (one at a time). Innovate! Motorsports LM-1 is a wideband a/f meter at heart, and has the ability to connect an extension device for additional inputs (5 additional now, and up to 30 in the near future).

Double check the wire colors and the pin numbers... be careful to look at it from the right perspective...
