Plenum spacer install problem

So I'm pretty much done installing 5/16ths plenum spacer and so I'm putting everything back and torquing everything down. Then I realize that there is these two cap bolts on each side of the plenum that won't fit back on with the spacer in. I dont have a clue what I did wrong. Maybe i don't have the spacer all the way in because it's visiually noticeable and idk if it's supposed to be like that or what. I'll take some pictures and I would reaaalllyy appreciate it if someone could help me out! 🙌

No they aren't the main 6, they're on the outside of the plenum

That bolt needs to come out... Grab the squared head on top and un twist it... If you bought the spacer new it should have the hardware that accounts for the spacer size. Or at least that was the case with my 1/2 spacer

I can't view your pics on the app for some reason. If you still are having trouble I'll hop on the computer and see what's up

Oh, haha. That bolt needs to come out completely. You can use a 4.5mm socket to extract it (I understand it looks like a star thingie, but a 4.5 or 5mm socket works). I don't remember anything replacing it.

Okay so probably an idiot mistake, I didn't replace the bolts with the new ones I have. I got the plenum spacer from a friend. so I'm not 100% sure if all the pieces are there.. But I have 3 55m hex screws, I have 4 longer screws with an Allen key head and an 18pc washer set. Im not sure which screws I swap out for the new ones please help!!

Dude, calm down. There's 6 long screws that go in the middle and 18 screws (that are all the same length) that go around the 18 holes in the edges of the plenum.
