automatic tranny rebuild

Qck question to anyone that has rebuild an AT tranny. My reverse has started chattering so I took it in to a tranny shop. They hooked up to see if there were any TCM code (05 tranny built in TCM) and the scanner didn't indicate anything. The atf was dark however shop owner said there was not burning smell
Long story short I'm gonna get them to rebuild my tranny. The owner told me he will be using the exedy master rebuild kit. Clutch packs, band, filter, seals all include. Also he will do the transgo kit. I already have a b&m overside tranny cooler that's installed.

My question, is there anything else I should be asking to do??
Has anyone heard anything about exedy clutch packs? I can't seem to find them online.
Should I go with ipt/level10/opt clutch packs instead?? I think they all use the alto reds.

Also if there is something wrong with the vb, which I doubt it.
Which upgrade one is recommend?? Gtm? Ipt?

Thanks in advance
