I just bought a 03 6spd and its running rough. Its throughing a random misfire on all cylinders it runs like crap. Ive changed the plugs and oil, it ran fine for a week. Now its throwing codes again. It acts really weak and sounds bad at idle. It has headers and cat back exhaust, so when it does this it sounds likeva neon srt4. Some time you can rev tge engine and it will clear.. Now it wont. When i changed the plugs the dricer side was white on the tips.. Im lost on this one

So if the tips of the plugs are turning white or fouling out means busted head gasket

Haha not necessarily. Just if its calcium. Had a cracked head one time and coolant would drip into the cylinder and the dried calcium would build up on the plug electrode.

Is this white stuff on yours like deposits? Or just changes the plug color white?

It just changes the plug colors white. No build up deposits.. Its blowing black smoke time to time... Engline light blinking, ruff idle, sometimes it dies coming off the highway.

If it's only the drivers side that looks abnormal try doing a compression test spark test and possibly a leak test

The fluids are fine. Fresh oil no dis color. Just the driver side plugs looks abnormal and that side is the one that blows black smoke. I put fresh plugs in drove great for a weak. Now its back to crap

Leaky valve cover gasket? Or valves? The valve cover gasket is more common on rev- up from what I hear though. Was there oil in the plug sleeves or what ever you wanna call them? Does it only smoke on start up after a decent time sitting?

No oil on sleeves no oil leaks. Just weird idle and black smoke at start ups... I even unplugged battery over night to reset computer and it drove fine until i got up the block and the light came back on flashing... Its weird at first i thought maybe bad gas because it would clear up and then come back after a while. Now im thinking something electrical.
