Leaky fuel damper after wiretuck/fuel mod delete

Hey all. Just fininshed doing my first wiretuck. went well except when I turn on the car it spits gas from the fuel damper on the passenger side. It never did that until i did the fuel bracket delete. It still leaks even though I put the fuel bracket back on, and it comes from the same damper. It spits out upward so idk if that means its the O ring or the damper itself. Any ideas?

Probably the o-ring once you pop that off it will never seal right again. Go to Harbor Freight and buy one of their o-ring kits for like 5 bucks. I bought the green nitrile set and matched up the sizes best I could. Haven't had a problem with it leaking since, I was testing my fuel pressure one day and came across the same issue.

it worked thanks so much. I picked up a pack of metric o-rings @ autozone.
