Hey guys, did a search on accelerometers and noticed a group buy on G-tech. For the guys who have had theirs now for a while, what are your thoughts? Anyone with Escort's version? Maybe another group buy is in order.

 

Well Gtech's have been out for a while and they've been well accepted, not as conclusive evidence of anything but they seem fairly reliable. Escort makes some really nice radar-detectors but I don't think they're as well known for accelerometers. If it were me, I'd go with Gtech.

 

I decided upon both and chose the Gtech.

no idea which is better, however i did search for info on both and my opinion was to go with the gtech since it had all the sync software included (obviously at $100 more then a non equipped escort), also i prefered the display on the gtech.

I havent made any comparisons at the track yet. will do that this summer.

trik69: groupbuy was a long time ago. there was tons of interest but the discount wasnt as great as everyone expected and most ended up not getting one. i doubt you can still use the discount offer, but you can try pm'ing randys_G for more info on it.
