p1273 & p1283 - Need tune?

Hi Guys,

A few weeks ago my check engine light turned on for a p1273 error(A/F sensor 1 Bank 1). However, I tightened down my intake and reset the ECU which turned off the light. I thought everything was fixed but today my car threw a p1283 error code (A/F sensor 1 Bank 2). Is it possible that my car is running too lean due to the bolt on mods I have? I've done a lot of searching but there's no concrete answer on if a tune is the correct way to fix this issue. I do plan on getting one, but the nearest UpRev dyno tuner is 2.5 hours away. I'd appreciate any recommendations!

Mods:
Greddy EVO3 Catback exhaust
Berk High Flow Cats
5/16 Plenum Spacer
z-tube
HR Intake box
aFe Pro S drop in filter

Car: 2004 G35 Coupe 6MT - 90k miles

No, those mods wouldn't make you lean enough to throw a code. I would clean your MAF, and if the codes still pop up, change the A/F sensors.

I fixed p1283 a while ago by tightening up plenum bolts. Basically make sure you don't have any post-MAF sensor leaks. Focus on drivers side. That code is telling you more air than calculated is passing by the sensor.

Thanks guys. I'll clean my MAF and look for leaks this weekend.

Check with propane or brake cleaner easiest way to find vac leaks

I didn't want to mess with propane or brake cleaner so I just took everything apart and re-torqued all my plenum bolts. I also cleaned the MAF and throttle body while everything was out of the car. There's less hissing when I press on the gas now but it's too early to tell if I fixed it. I'll probably just take it in to a shop if my engine light comes back on.

Just wanted to post a followup in case other people have this issue. My check engine light hasn't come back on after about a month. Either cleaning the MAF or re-torquing the plenum bolts fixed it. Thanks for everyones help.
