A little background for ya it an 04 coupe 6mt I blew up the original motor and did a vq to vq swap it checked all the fuses all the relay tried to reprogram the key but there was no signal to the OBD2 port. The security light on the dash flashes in acc but turn the key and it stays solid the fans also come on in been looking on here and 350z page what I have gathered is that the ecu is not getting power that why the fans come on.

I'm in the Army and getting out in the next month so time and funds are very limited

If any one can help that would be greatly appreciated

 

Why did you try to reprogram the key if you didn't switch the ECU and you swapped just the motor?

 

Because they security light on the dash would stay lit in the on position everything I looked at said that something happend to IVIS or whatever it's called it's not like it hurt anything to try it plus the locksmith ended up not charging me for coming out
