Muffler delete

Hey guys so i had a problem with my 2005 g35 coupe being too quiet and did a muffler delete for now....
But between 1000-2500 rpm it's too loud and I don't like driving in residential areas at nights because I know it'll annoy the people. I looked into the branch on the exhaust with the dead end but anyone know more about what else can be done or if the branch works? I like the sound to be there but not this loud to be annoying

Thanks

Muffler deletes are loud.

Reason why?

The thing that muffles the sound is gone.

The muffler.

Want it quiet?

Put the muffler back on.

Post of the week 😂 but in all seriousness OP, you gotta pay to play. The cheapest option is to buy a set of magnaflow (or whatever QUALITY) muffler you can find and have a shot weld Em up, should give you louder than stock but without all that drone/garbage noise

Not looking for criticism buddy, I am not a huge fan of those fat exhaust pipes
You can go criticize your kids about what to like or what to do, I said I like the sound I'm trying to fix the noise level on low rpms, if you don't know how to do it I understand.
No need to make yourself sound cool if you don't know how to do something

I'm not looking for the cheapest option, if I wanted the cheapest option I would have gotten an eBay muffler and put it on it would have cost less than a muffler delete.
And like I said earlier I'm not a fan of changing the exhaust tips
To each their own. Again if you don't know about something don't try to push your way to make yourself sound cool.
I like my car sounding my way not yours

Is there anyone on here who knows about the exhaust? Jeez I feel like I'm teaching interns
(I'm not looking for bolt on stuff I can buy at a store I'm looking to plan something out with measurements and take it to my guy and get it done) i.e. A branch
If you don't know what that means then you don't belong in this thread

Criticism?

Hardly.

Facts are more like it.

There's a reason why cars come with mufflers and your experiencing first hand why.

Not all exhausts for this car are big fart cans.

Go back to stock or do a simple search. There are a myriad of options to modify the stock sound that doesn't produce the rasp in the lower rpms that you speak of.

A fact isn't asking for a reason why...
My reason is because I like it
I don't want to go back to stock. I live all the way up a residential area in the mountains and I feel bad stopping at stop signs and going and there's a loud exhaust sound upon take off that can't be controlled like with 3,4,5,6 gears.

I really do like the sound and am not complaining about it. I'm just trying to be that guy with the modified exhaust that can't keep it down even if he tried.
If I was just too search for things and ideas what's the point of this forum then? Other than people like you trying to bash on others to make yourself feel better because you're too self centered and thinking what you like should be what everyone likes.
Just like now u have a different muffler set up as me so I'm obviously not going to like it does it give me the right to bash on it and say fact is it sucks cuz it's not my preference?

Sigh.

The point of the search option is to not clutter threads up with posts that can be answered with a simple search. Not for people to have to be spoon fed information instead of taking a few minutes to search the vast amount of information here.

Self centered?

Making myself feel better? Lol.

It appears (from your posts) that you just bought your car not to long ago and you don't know to much about the platform and that's cool.

That's when you search to see if the question you've asked has been answered before making a new thread about the same thing. *forum etiquette*

And you know what makes this better?

I've personally had a muffler delete less than two months ago.

So believe me when I say the rasp will
Not leave without reinstalling the exhaust component that muffles the sound.

The muffler.

Looool why would you do anything to a 4 door automatic?

You do things your way I do things my way.

I wanted to see if anyone had ideas about the low rpms unfortunately you had to state your opinion instead of helping. As far as cluttering threads looks like you're the one cluttering threads trying to scoop up a cheap 03 bumper instead of paying to get a new one.
If you didn't like the muffler delete that's your own taste. You like doing anything to a 4 door automatic that's your taste, a search option roughly answers my question but isn't specific.
this is a forum not a place where you criticize, people come to talk about cars not just about bolt ons
There's something called building.

Lol I like this dude.

Got a little spark but seems to get butt hurt quickly.

I'm one of the nice guys here

And your four door automatic comment is hilarious because you somehow believe a manual is the better one being the though we both drive 10+ year old cars.

Take your bra and panties off and carry on and find the info that you overlooked in the second post of this thread that never should have existed in the first place

Lmao had to edit this,

You referred to me trying to snag a cheap bumper but you deleted your muffler instead of buying a exhaust system which is in itself cheap.

Oh I love this place

Hold up hold up, if you weren't looking for the cheapest option you could've just gotten a decent catback, don't accuse people of pushing their agenda, when in reality I offered a solution to your problem. Making it more loud and no drone. But it wasn't what you wanted to hear. Your car does sound like yours, and you pretty much said it sounds like ****. This is why I can't take the forums some days

Difference is I didn't find a good deal on a car and hop on it. I bought my car from the dealer nice and clean because I liked it when I had the choice to Get any other car I want.

And I actually had a custom Y pipe made and a muffler delete and one of your previous comments on a post you were talking about a guy who had the same set up and sounded nice.... But now all of a sudden it's cheap?
News flash. Paying someone to fabricate something cost more than a bolt on

Something can sound nice and cheap. But it's just nice, not extraordinary or spectacular. I'm well aware of the cost of fabricating parts. You can get any other car you want? Sounds like a mid 80's hatch civic is best for you, I recommend that route with a huge fart can on it. (Sarcasm) If you knew so much about exhausts why ask bro? It just pits everyone against each other in an awkward situation
Edit; rant over. So if you don't want drone you are going to have to customize the rest of the exhaust. To make up for the now more freely flowing muffler deleted pipes. Genuinely hope this helps

No I don't know everything about exhausts that's why I am asking about the 1000-2500 rpm drone for residential areas. Where did u even come from?
Only thing you know is bolt ons that's why you said put on a magnaflow muffler. Like I said before and I'll say it again. If I wanted a bolt on part I can buy it but I don't want it. Apparently you kids are too fascinated about what you see on fast and furious and other things hearing about brand names and saying you want it. What ever happened to DIY... The REAL DIY. Not just buying a part and installing it. That's right people like you who criticize the ones trying to do that is where it went wrong. Go put more stickers on your car representing what brands you have on it
