PCV Breather on Drivers side/Capped Intake

So I'm slowly dialing in this 03.5 G and I'm trying to get my Fuel Trims perfect which they are not. Drivers side PCV I don't like at all and never well. I'm not for it and I hated seeing oil residue in my intake before my Throttle Body. I capped off the plug on the intake from pcv hose and ran a breather filter about 2 inches off the drivers side pcv. I haven't got my catch can yet for the strong side/passenger pcv. In theory having a PCV on the intake pipe is technically letting in unfiltered air, technically.

What are your guys thoughts on long term use on PCV on either side. I've read plenty of DIY threads on here. Most are really old and not much years later after people have ran different setups. I'm not concerned about the passenger side/ main one. Just mainly the one that goes from driver side to intake tube.
