Aftermarket fanclutch

Hi everyone,
This is my first post here. My local mechanic told me my fanclutch is bad. Its making a lot of noise(like a truck)that drives me nuts. dealer wants 350 dollars for a new genuine one. Is there a aftermarket fan clutch that works and doesn't sound too loud? Local discount autopart have one Hayden branded, which is sold for 75. Could that work? Thanks.

You can get that Hayden branded one for less than $40 off rockauto.com. Or you can look into converting to electrical fans like the later models did. I think 2003.5 is when that change happened from the factory, so not many clutch fan G35s out there.

Thanks for the reply. Do you know if the Hayden is a good brand, that do not sound like a Mack truck? Or any other forum member that have buyed a good aftermarket fanclutch. If not, I may look for how to do the electric conversion then. Thanks in advance

Just do what Lost suggested and buy one from RockAuto. They are my favorite online parts warehouse: great prices, products and service. Shipping is relatively fast as well.

Not sure but I'd Google reviews of each to get a better idea.
