Re: 105 mph and more on tap

LOL, I thought anything over 2nd was time warp.

This integ tested me. I think I was so distracted by him spinning the wheels all the way to 4th gear while I was still in 2nd along the side of him. I finally bounced off the limiter which made me snap out of the trance of seeing him try so hard to get away.
Hit the limiter threw the car into 3rd, wheels spun and I shot past him "like butta".

Carlos, you are the man!...I would personally never go above posted limits (heh, heh!), but I wanted to see who is top lead foot and what possibilities exist it I have to "drive it like I stole it"

105? I can do that in my pickup.

Haven't come close to testing the limits of the G - only hit 110 or so.

I have seen 150 on my Ninja though which is scary-fast, bordering on Ludicrous-speed.

BMW sets the governer at either 128 or 155, depending on the sport factor of the model.

Re: 105 mph and more on tap

ummm if you take fairmount alll the way to were it dead ends. There is a very long stright strech you can go as fast as you want but it is abit hill so if you strat to lift off thats normal i did to hahaha very scary. I found a new spot in bentlyvill i dont know the street but its perfect it is long flat no hill and even better no cops. so i will probaly try there next. But to get to the fairmount one just take fairmount away from downtown for maybe 30-40 min there you go. there a lot of fun streets around there are twisty. good luck and hope you dont get killed trying to have fun

Re: 105 mph and more on tap

I read somewhere that speedometers are mostly inaccurate over 100 MPH. So if you are going 140 MPH, you might be going along at 132 MPH or vice versa. So you might not be going as fast as you think.
