Hi,
When I was driving I heard a pop and a sudden smoke coming in, engine become hot and coolant was low.
Then I discovered that the hose (next to the battery) was completely cut in 2, I'm not sure how it was before, but If put coolant it will go there and all leak from there.
Should it be o one hose only part ? Or should I stick the 2 part together, I don't know why there is 2 clamp there.

That might be where the bleeder valve was located. Ylu can buy a new one for like 20 bucks and have it break again in a few years or just use one new piece of hose.

 

piece of hose ? I have ordered a heather connector (not sure if it will fit in) but car schema show that a heather connector must be installed there to connect the 2 hoses.

 

You can just remove the bleeder valve and bleed the coolant through the radiator cap like most do anyways

 

I have ordered from Infiniti a heather hose connector. However the head of this connector couldnt get inside the hoses (seems like it's same size as hose). Should I cut the head of this connector in order to insert it inside the hoses ?

 

It's probably because the hoses have lost their elasticity, try a little vaseline to lube it up before sticking it in >.>

 

I think the old heather core connector was cut into 2 pieces and being stuck inside each hose. So I need to find a way to remove those pieces inside the hoses.

 

If it's plastic then get some channel locks and rip it out, or use them to crush the hose and pull out the pieces.

Or just buy new hoses.

Or chop out the section that has the connectors in it and frankenstein the whole thing back together with a couple of short hose sections, plastic couplings, and hose clamps Depends on how much time and money you can invest into it at the moment.
