can i replace my inititi 2008 g35x engine with 2012 g37 engine ? and if i can do so, what do i have to change other than the engine |?

Honestly, it would likely be cheaper to sell your car and buy a 2012 G37 than to do all that work. You can do an LS swap with our cars so it would be possible to swap a G37 engine in physically but getting everything to work would be the main issue.

 

I Have got an amazing deal for a front g37 half kit, for around 1,600$ only with the headlights engine and all the parts, that's why am looking to do that if possible. But if i wanted to do so, what would i need to change, like the transmission, does it have to be changed or it works >?
My main issue with my car is the fuel consumption, it consumes the fuel like it consumes water, the full tanks runs only 200 miles in the best conditions.

 

Anything is possible, yes you will need the transmission, wiring harness, ECU, basically EVERYTHING. Expect a lot of fabrication to make things work, a lot of custom electrical work to make the instrument cluster work, etc.

Why not shop around for a G37 with a blown engine and just do THAT swap instead?
