clutch problem with 04 coupe

Hey guys, Friday night I let my friend drive my car (probably dogged it and I was not with him) and i noticed saturday when i started my car the car took longer to start and now everytime i engage the clutch it feels like it wants to stall and the RPMs drop. there is a sound when the clutch is engaged and it is high pitched (i assume its a throwout bearing) . i know i will probably have to pay somebody to pull the Transmission but any ideas on what could be wrong to where the car wants to stall out when clutch is engaged?

Get the car up in the air and inspect everything, ask your friend what happened. Might just be a failing crank sensor though. Definitely not what's causing the TO bearing to whine though.

Wouldn't a failing crank sensor cause a light to come on?
