2004 g35 Random Misfire- Done it all(almost)
From what i remember the light would not be solid red when cranking. I do remember the light staying solid red for longer than usual when i locked the car from the outside ( after the car already wouldn’t work) before it would start blinking like it usually does.
Calling Nissan in a couple minutes too see their prices.

Bump. My G is still dead. After my mechanic told me he thinks its either the ECU or key i took it to nissan, wasted my time as they said they couldn’t do anything.
Today I had it towed to infiniti and they told me they believe the IPDM was bad because it was corroded blah blah blah. Supposedly the tech cleaned the connections and now the ECU is finally communicating with everything but still running rough. They tell me they would need to replace the IPDM first and then then can troubleshoot better.
I’ve done everything. Recently sent the ECU to one of those computer companies that test them and they sId the ECU is conpletely FINE. Infiniti is telling me the key is communicating correctly with the ECU and my mechanic checked timing, all wiring, all sensors, fuel pressure etc and all was fine. My mechanic narrowed it down to the ECU or the key and both have been tested and seem to be ok. I’m so freaking frustrated man can somebody help out? The car was running perfect before hand.
As I said, somebody slashed my tires the same night the car stalled for the first time. Do you think they could have possibly done something to cause all these problems? I doubt it. Put something in the gas tank? In the exhaust? Idk There are still no codes or check engine light.
Thanks in advance

You could always drain out the fuel (pump it out) and refill the tank with fresh gas.
However since the problem was PARTIALLY fixed by cleaning up the IPDM that makes me think there's bigger problems with it and that it DOES need to be replaced.
