Hey looking for some advise Ive got a 04 paid off for 4 years now needs a decent amount of work. I need to know if I should keep it or junk it aka sell to car max. They offered me only 3k. With 120k miles its runs really great but the Illinois winters really jacked the metal under check the pictures.
I need to know about how much it would cost to keep this thing. A lot of ***** rusted out pretty bad. (cheapp! parts on ebay) But for only a few thousand I would probably keep it. I'm in Florida now and love this ride. I would wanna keep it, only if it makes sense for how much it would take. What's your suggestions? Price? Ty!
2004 G35 Coupe 120k miles Runs great, very responsive acceleration. For sure has a oil consumption issues way worse if I slam but I usually cruse now days. Mostly =D
Found code p0301, P1273 and p0011, codes p0011, p0301 is cause by low oil pressure and or low oil. There’s no oil leak engine is consuming oil and code p1273 is cause by the massive exhaust leak, the whole exhaust system has to be replace and to fix code p0011, and p0301 recommend starting with BG 3 step MOA, ERP and 44K, 6 coils and plugs.
Not entirely sure what "BG 3 step MOA, ERP and 44K" is.
Crusted suspension brace can be sourced via a pick-n-pull or ebay. It's a commonly rusted part, usually about $100
You can source a stock coupe exhaust for a very reasonable price, probably $300
P1273 is the upstream O2 sensor, unless the leak is somewhere on the header or cats it's probably just a failing sensor or an intake leak. Check all the PCV hoses, the intake hose, etc, might be something simple. You could literally just take the exhaust off after the cats and not throw a code except cat efficiency code (no I don't recommend driving like that
P0301 is cylinder 1 misfire, pull the spark plug and inspect, might be due for replacement and it's just the first one showing signs of wear, inspect the spark plug well tube BEFORE you pull out the plug and see if it's full of oil which can also cause a misfire, if so replace the valve covers. Inspect the coil pack for blistering on the epoxy resin, scorching on the well tube, corrosion on the well tube contact spring. You can also check resistance on the coils, check the FSM for spec, I definitely wouldn't go throwing in 6 new coils unless you just want to toss money at the car or they actually show signs of wear. They really don't cause issues for NA engines when they're worn, it's more of an FI thing to replace them regularly as a maintenance item. This code is not from low oil.
I would tackle these items and then reevaluate if you want to sell the car, the rust on the bottom isn't that bad and some paint will cover a lot of it., buy a newspaper and a roll of masking tape, and a couple scotch brite pads. Sand/scuff the flaky rust off and tape everything around the rust off and just paint it with rustoleum rust reformer. It's a $15 investment that will pay for itself if you do decide to sell the car and will cover up that mess if you don't decide to sell the car.

What would you think this would cost me about 2k? Unfortunately I just moved to FL I dont have access to a lift or tools anymore so this would have to be done in a shop.
If you're talking about paying a shop to do the work it's probably not going to be worth it. You're better off buying a set of 6 ton jackstands and a service jack for $250 (or find a used set locally) and doing it yourself rather than paying a shop. You can always sell the jackstands and jack on craigslist when you're done to recoup most of that cost.
