G35 intake manifold gaskets question

Newbie here and probably dumb question...
I'm giving my 2006 G35 a minor overhaul including most of the engine gaskets but the two Nissan oem metal intake manifold gaskets have no printing on them. They only have a raised stamped area on them and I don't remember if the raised area was facing in to the exhaust manifold or out towards the intake manifold.
I included pics of the metal intake gasket, it's hard to see the raise area in the picture and a diagram in case I'm not explaining it correctly but like I said, I'm new at this and it completely threw me off, I want to make sure beforehand and avoid any potential leaks due to a dumb mistake.

Just hold them up to the head and see if it will go in either direction.

Also, all those metal gaskets are 100% reusable, no reason to replace them. I know they show as a replace item in the FSM but trust me those things are definitely reusable an almost infinite amount of times.
