As the title states Im on the fence for HFC or HFC’s w/ resonators. I know this has been answered before, but Im looking for a more specific response if anyone has a similar set up. My current set up is DC intake/ 5/8 MD spacer/ HKS Rep True Dual cat back (w/ a Magnaflow resonated X-pipe). And my question is that if I get regualr HFC (Berks) will there be drone, even with the resonated X-pipe I have installed? Or should I just get the HFC’s that are resonated (FI) already?

 

It's really impossible to know if there will be drone until you have the setup installed. I'm betting the resonator you have in the x pipe will be sufficient though, the HKS rep exhaust wasn't particularly drone-y to begin with, just very RASPY.
