Jim Wolf Twin Turbo Removal

Has any one experienced removing a twin turbo system from their G?

I have a 05 G35 that I purchased few years ago with the Jim Wolf Twin Turbo system installed. After 3 years of off and on tinkering I've decided to throw in the towel and sell it. However I'm not getting any interest. So I've started contemplating removing the turbo system and am wondering if anyone knows what's all involved. Super long story short the car has 161,000 kms on it but a brand new engine was installed 15,000kms ago. The turbo system has boosting issues and I'm ready to just take it back to stock. Only upgrades it has is full stillen custom exhaust. Otherwise no other upgrades, pretty much whatever came with the Jim Wolf Kit is all that was installed.

If anyone is interested in the Edmonton Area I am selling the car as is for a pretty decent price. Its in excellent condition.

Just looking for some advice if I can't find a buyer since I'm giving up on trying to figure out the boosting issues. I've had 2 shops look at it and they recommend going stand alone ECU but I'm not in a financial position to do that and would either sell it as is or spend little bit of time taking off turbo system and selling that kit separately and getting car back to stock and selling that as well.

Any thoughts or opinions are appreciated!

Describe "boosting issues". Because that kit will provide almost double the boost your engine can handle if it's stock.

Your price blows my mind, you're asking just slightly more than that kit is worth for the entire car, something seems off here.

As for your question about removal, that's easy, just unbolt everything, plug the oil return line holes on the oil pan, reflash your ECU back to stock.

Seems like a pretty good deal, but if you are trying to run a TT setup with an Uprev tune that is half your problem. Stand-alone would make sense; and you can find some tuner kits for a reasonable price. Does your local shops offer standalone like Haltech or PROEFI?

price seems super reasonable for a clean title clean coupe. Has it been for sale since last winter? Pics have snow…!

It would make sense you are struggling under peak boost with an oil problem. If they can fix that, you can probably make more boost. But are you running 20 PSI on the “new” Stock block 🥴!?

I’ll have to take a video this weekend and upload, it almost bogs down under boost it’s weird. It’s very clean car but nobody seems to be interested. It’s sort of wild actually. Been for sale since April. Only had 3 people actually show up to see the car since then.

Also fun fact, the previous owner had the turbo kit put on at 50,000kms and engine lasted for almost another 100,000kms with the kit before needing to replace the engine. It’s running at 12 PSI boost. All 100% stock internals.

Sounds like it's time to pull and inspect the plugs, that will tell you a lot about what's actually going on inside.
