Plenum gasket: spacer/plenum install

I was wondering, how many times can the gasket from the plenum be compressed/decompressed before it needs to be replaced? This is in regards to removing the plenum and installing a spacer, new plenum...etc.

I wouldn't do more than a few re-uses. The things are so cheap anyway it's not worth the risk of leaks just to save a couple bucks, etc.

If you're really worried about it, you can get a 12-pack for $30.

Yea... I know the gaskets are cheap, I just wondered how many times they can be reused.

if you have a service manual, check that and see what it says. On most gaskets, it says to replace them each time.

I am aware of the 12 pack for $30, but shipping is $20 just for some light gaskets...I know thats a rip off..and I dont need 12.

I only need 2, so I purchased 2 for 5.95 each, shipping is a lot cheaper this way also.
