those are good in theory.....that is, until they see the price on those! Its gonna be at least $150 plus shipping and reprogramming.
Its going to be about $200 per KEY then!

That's actually about average for the industry to get a transponder key and have it programmed.

They get the switchblade style. My mom's 91' SL had it as well. We are 12 years down the road and we get Nissan key fobs...how...how..upscale?.?. The keys for the Z get the chip door in black not green,so at least it matches. I guess we can complain and hope they hear us or are looking for us/our opinions.

The chip door comes in random colors. The purpose of it is to tell two Infiniti vehicles apart, if you own more than one, I would guess.

Maybe I was wrong.. One of my rentals had a light blue chip cover.. but then, it was an I35 not a G35. I just assumed they were random, like those colored things you can wrap around the head of the key to tell them apart.

Mine is sort of an olive drab green.
