what p diddy is trying to say is you should have simply done research on all the existing mods and come to your own conclusion. there is more than enough information on this forum if you look back a bit.

Thanks for all of the positive fed-back guys. I opened this topic up again because I was hoping to sum all the scattered Intake threads into one, kind of like the final conclusion. Didn’t mean to cause any conflict. You guys shouldn’t be so sensitive, come on now, all I did was open a thread and I get killed for it. lol j\k. P_diddy you still mad about the P_diddy comment I made? I'm pretty sure you are, because you wished that nobody responds to this thread, lol. Newbies look out for P_Diddy, the man will snap on you like a snapping turtle if you do something that aggravates him. We all were a newbie at some point of our lives, so for get and forgive.

If you really want to know, okay. I did a mild research on the Intakes, not to through though. I just been overwhelmed with college papers lately and It seemed more convenient for me to open a new thread to get a straight forward answer.

Thank you for your honesty pinoy. Most people probably would of either lied and said "I spent hours and hours searching" or they would have just told me to F off.

Yeah, trashtalking newbies are no good! :-(

Well, actually trash talking in general is no good, even worse from a newbie.

Anyway, quite honeslty with the different intakes I've tried, K&N drop in, Z-Tube, K&N CAI, K&N RAM... anythign is better than stock!

It really just depends on how much money you want to spend. Z-tube and K&N Drop is very affordable, that's why everyone continually suggests it. But if you want to spend more money, feel free to. But you wont' receive much of a difference, at least in my opinion.

Good luck.

Z Tube

Is there a way to put the piece from the stock G tube on the Z tube that matches up to the engine cover? If not, does anyone know how to debaffle the G tube? I am thinking about debaffling the stock G tube and putting in a K&N drop in.
