Performance mods for cheap

What are some good performance mods that will give me some gains in hp. I was told if I take my cats out and change it with glasspacks I would gain at least 10hp to the wheels. Is that true?

At the moment you're limited to CAI, Grounding Kit, Synthetic fluids, Super premium gas, Cat back exhaust, and a good tail wind. . Anytime soon they promise a flood of mods. We're all still waiting....................

AlextheKurupt in Cali has taken the cats out on his car, but I wouldn't recommend doing it. The cats on our cars are high flow and the hp gain would be minimal anyway. Besides that it would be strictly illegal, not to mention make Nissan frown some too.
'Sup to you bro, but I wouln't do it.

Re: Performance mods for cheap

I dunno, if you walk under your sedan while it's on a lift and look at the exhaust system with a eye bent towards what should be fixed to improve flow. One thing that is obvious to the naked eye is that the stock cats are awfully small and definately not what I'd call "high flow", their just to small to be high flow. Also looks like the piping leading to them and to the tri-y is a tad to small to my eye. That tri-y could also be improved to, doesn't look like a smooth transition.

But hey, maybe the stock cats do flow bench well, I don't know that. But their physical size is telling me something else as is the rest of the system itself.

Ok then I dont think I will do that then. What I really want is to improve my 0-60 time.
