Question Gordgee's or Z-tube first?

Since I'm getting my G back for good at the end of the month it's time for me to start thinking about mods. Right now, I'm kind of stuck between two choices and need your guys/girl opinions.

1. GroundingGear 10-wire (I have a 5A/T and use MM all the time)
or
2. Z-tube/K&N filter.

i will be getting both as funds become availible, just might be a while. (Helpin pay for my lil sis's wedding/honeymoon.

Oh yeah, one more question. Is the Z-Tube CARB exempt? Will I have any trouble when taking it to the dealer for a tune-up, etc.?

Thanks in advance for your input.

I would think you should do the grounding first if you use the MM a lot. I just put my Z tube on last week and I like it a lot. Car sounds a lot better and is maybe a little stronger, but the sound is why I did it.

Can someone PM me how much the grounding kit goes for?

Oh ya, the Z tube will not cause you any problems as it is an OEM Nissan part.

IMHO..go with the Ztube and K&N Filter...your car will appreciate it...just make sure you go with the stock Z Tube and not a knockoff CF or Aluminum one. I haven't been impressed at all with the other versions of the Ztube.

i would go for gordgee's grounding wires as the first mod. since you probably wont be able to feel the difference as much with z-tube + k&n (except for the sound )

with the grounding wires, you'd definately enjoy the car in mm mode alot more. (but then again, if u havent had the G for a while, you probably would not appreciate the grounding wires as much)

for pricing, should pm gordgee, he'll let u know the details.

Just got my Z-tube installed yesterday at the Infiniti dearlership, the Infiniti dealership down here in Florida doesn't void your whole car warranty because you swap out a simple bolt-on part (I would be surprised if the dealership would even notice your Z-tube at your next maintance scheduled appointment). I'll be doing ground wires soon but can't really comment yet on them since I don't have any yet, GOOD LUCK.

I say go for the GroundingGear first. It's an easy worthwhile mod that will net you better results with your 5AT.

I'll second that.

You'll get a better enjoyment per dollar return on the grounding gear then you will on the Z-tube and K&N.

I have both the grounding gear and tube/K&N and if I had to choose. It would be the fantastic and wonderful working GordonGee Grounding kit Did I mention it looks good in the engine bay too?

I noticed the grounding kit more than the Z-tube.

Just my .02 cents of opinion.

I am on to the grounding kit next. Did the Z-tube and yes for the sound as the performance benefit isn't really there.
I want the 5AT to be more responsive or w/ less delay.
Anyone have preferences on brand / kit , please advise. or PM
