Z Tube and K&N install during break in period?

Hey guys all your info is great and has convinced me to do my first mod being the Z tube and the K&N filter install. I currently have 200 miles on my G sedan since I only got it a week ago. My question is should I wait until after the break in period of the engine (1200 miles) prior to installing the Z tube? I would imagine that some of you more experienced guys can probably give me a straight answer. I did a search in these forums but I could not find anything about installing the Z tube during break in or should I wait a few thousand miles.

Appreciate the responses as my new G has me amped up to start modding it.

You should be fine as long as you keep breaking the car in properly. Small bolt-on mods won't make your engine blow up during break in period. On the other hand, big modifications like any form of forced induction should be put on after the engine is broken in since you won't be able to tune properly without having to go to the redline on dyno

Shouldn't affect break in at all

you won't notice much of a difference during break in because the increased growl occurs above 4k, and during break-in, you're supposed to keep it under 4k.

Go ahead and swap it out, or you can wait until you break it in and hear the stock intake at high RPMs, then when you swap for the z-tube, you will hear the difference
