AEM V2 Intake?
I have the AEM CAI, not the V2, which I think is just a variant for other cars. I got a noticable boost with just the AEM mod and nothing else on my '04. I think they are essentially all the same, except that some (AEM) have a bypass filter to prevent water uptake which can kill the engine.
With all intake upgrades.. you'll see little to know differences between them all. They're all basically catagorized into two catagories. Short ram, and C.A.I. (cold air induction) intakes. All CAI will perform about the same. All normal shor ram intakes will function the same. The only differences will be in the type of filter, or if it has TRUE ram air. IMO, if you want a CAI intake... buy a generic one that has the same or similar dimensions as the big brand names, and get a good filter. And if you live in rainy areas, install an AEM bypass into the generic intake arm.
