Question WTF is this?

Infiniti "intake sensor mod"
This nut thinks you can remove the intake (MAS) sensor and replace it with a resistor?

Yes, the Nissan engineering dept. has been totally embarassed by this "grassroots" discovery. Rumor has it that this will be standard on the '06 models with a dash activated "Boost" switch to engage the resistor during passing or hill climbing conditions. I may consider trading in my '03 for this feature alone.

Looks like a 3900 ohm +/- 5%.

Any idea where the ends of the resistor are plugged in?

im confused. you lost me when you said grassroots. i starting thinking about midnight confessions.
