My personal observations...
The effectiveness of various G35 mods comprise a major part of this forum. But sometimes the info and comments are confusing. Right? Heck, some say system X is best... in fact it's so good that all other systems are a waste of money. Others say mod Y is the only way to go and then another thread/post says mod Y is essentually worthless.
For those who would like more, less confusing information on G35/350Z/VQ35DE mods, I suggest you review these Sport Z Magazine Articles:
Fall 2004 - 3 HOT 350Z (& G35) MODS
A popular CAI, Plenum & Exhaust combination is installed and dynoed. Includes articles on Cold Air Intakes & Plenums.
Winter 2005 - G35 DYNO MARATHON
17 G35s are dynoed. Each car's Year / Model - Trans - Mileage - Peak HP - Peak Torque & Mods are listed. Compare each G's mods to its torque and horsepower results.
Spring 2005 - OFFICAL INTRODUCTION OF INFINITI's G35 to SPORT Z.
Featured G35 Supercharged Sedan. Keepin' the VQ Cool Tech Article includes cooling system mods.
Summer 2005 - 350Z/G35 TURBOCHARGER SHOOTOUT.
A Supercharged G35 Coupe (Randys_G) is featured. Desert Day Dynoing - More mods vs. VQ35DE torque and horsepower. Includes stock and modified 2005 6spd and AT results.

Absolutely great info in those issues!!! I look forward to more!
The G35 dyno w/mod listings was Winter 04 right? I think you said 05... or is there another one coming?
Thanks for all the great info you have provided!

I would definitely recommend ANYONE go out and buy the back issues of this mag...pound for pound, it has more info about our cars than ANY other mag...and the back issues are CHEAP...great restroom material too! And I don't mean to WIPE! =)
DaveO has proven to me time and time again that he is maticilous in his research and definitely non-biased. Enjoy! www.sportzmagazine.com

That looks like very interesting information. Is there any way to get back issues? Also, is it possible the magazine may be supportive of a group-buy for subscriptions for members of this board?

What I like about the articles it that they summarize conclusions of testing and offer just enough info as to why.
I agree with you Randy, it's the best mag for our cars out there!

Mike.
If you'll check the cover of Sport Z Magazine Turning 35 issue I believe you'll see it says Volume 5 * Issue 1 * Winter 2005. It's actually the Winter 2004-2005 edition. It's a little confusing for long time subscribers but we're adaptable. And no, I don't know the details as to why this change was made. That's above my pay grade.
Trey,
As Randy pointed out subscriptions, back issues and other interesting information are available on www.SportZMagazine.com - and in case you've missed it, a subscription to Sport Z is included with Premier Membership to G35Driver.
Randy and Mike,
Thanks for the kind words. I do try very hard to be thorough and objective... to do my research, and test whenever possible, before writing an article or expressing subjective opinions. I rely heavily on the Nissan/Infiniti service manual(s) and a few key people for reliable real word information. Those people already know who they are.

I blew it when I upgraded to Premiere here... didn’t know anything about SportZ (at the time) so didn’t take advantage of the deal. Oh well, it's worth the normal subscription price.
Anyone reading this that is not a premiere member – become one! It’s worth the subscription to SportZ alone!
