Preparing for a Dyno
Preparing for a Dyno
I am going to dyno my G next week after I install my HKS exhaust. What should I do to prepare the car? Here is what I am going to do:
Make sure tire pressure is good.
Disconnect the battery for 12 hours before the run.
Check weather for decreased humidity.
Let the car cool down before the run.
Let me know what else I need to do.

Re: Preparing for a Dyno
Hey, depending on how many runs and time between, see if you can disconnect your engine Hyper-Grounds (on the last run?) to see how much difference they make. That is if you're so inclined and the opportunity presents itself!

Re: Preparing for a Dyno
Have you dyno'ed previously? If not, set up your exhaust so you can remove the old exhaust and install the new one on the dyno rack. This will give you a true change, as every car is different
You can do this with clamps or flanges so you don't have to do any welding in the dyno shop. Then you can go back and weld the system in place.
