he said he was boosting alot(dont remember the number) and how the motor could handle 600hp.
it cant, unless he drives a supra.
ill believe in the possability in his turbo, but not in 600hp on stock internals he is not able to accomplish what companies like greddy, hks, and top secret could not.
one more thing, a japanease kit will require fabrication for our cars, thats why the Power Enterprise kit hasnt been localized yet.

As for computers, I did have a commodore with 64k of memory way back in 1980, my compliment on your historical knowledge of the computer industry. My current computer is a little faster and I do have hi-speed internet access, having discarded AOL way back in 1995.

Yeah I believe that this guy may have a kit but I think he's exaggerating on the power gains. I think the stock internals MAY handle 400 (just based on the fact that the 450HP VQ that Nismo has uses a surprising amount of stock components) but 600 is a serious stretch. The compression ratio on this engine is high, and I'm sure it was a bit overengineered to ensure reliability, but this isn't a cast-iron turbo-designed block like the Supra's.

Speaking of which, I had a Supra eat my G for lunch the other day...wickedly powerful and the engine didn't even sound like it broke a sweat. If I didn't buy my G and I was looking used, the Supra would be at the top of my list. What a car.

 

I had a rather extensive PM conversation with Kahuna, and if he's making all this up, he's a world class liar. I saw pics of his intercooler, and he speaks VERY knowledgeably about the kit, and engines in general.

I have little doubt he'll post dyno results, and more info as he's able to. Whatever claims he's made about actual HP will be borne out by the dyno, some exaggeration is to be expected from ANY enthusiast, so let's not go overboard on the complaints there, eh?

Something to think about... Does Kahuna owe you - any of you, any of us on this forum or on the internet - ANYTHING? Maybe a little appreciation for his sharing knowledge, ideas and sources, rather than immature bashing of his sincerity would be helpful.

Conquie read the thread title. He started all this commotion by sayin' he will broadcast the so-called dyno run over the net. But no stream, no pics, no nothing. Any intelligent people on this forum would feel this was just one big lie. So before you start defending Kahuna in your brown-nosing ways, let him prove himself please!
