Replacing Filter for Injen Cold Air Intake

I searched around but I couldn't find anything on this. My filter for the INJEN CAI is filthy and I need to buy a new one....anybody what size filter I need for this? And where to buy it from? I'm sure a lot of places carry K & N Filters, but I have no clue as to what size goes in the Injen

Thanks a lot guys!

i believe the filter that comes with the injen is reusable, just get a k&n filter charger kit for $10 and re-oil it, i do it every oil change.

u can, or you can use the kit. Spray on cleaner let it sit, hose it off, and the filter is white. Then you spray on the oil, its red so u can put an even coat on. Very easy. BTW isnt the filter that comes with the injen a K&N?

Yeah somebody. My InJen in really diirrttty too! If anyone has info on where to get a new filter, please speak up. Last time I used the K&N filter cleaner and oil, I had to clean it twice. I had really slacked off on cleaning the thing.

Later,

Ray

Crips!!!
I can't believe that you guys would rather buy a new one rather than take 20 minutes to clean and reoil the thing.

Wink

Well I am looking at my Injen paperwork that came with the intake and it says:

3.5" injen filter - part #1015 (3.5" inlet diameter)

You can order directly from the Injen online store or try and match it up with a K&N (prob who makes it anyway)

Hope this helps!

Irony: I've had mine since April of '03 and have cleaned plenty. After awhile you just need to replace because of all the dirt that gets slammed onto it. I mean mine is pretty exposed to the wind blowing right through the grill and collecting alot of the road dirt.

OldVFRGuy: Thanks for the info.

Later,

Ray
