Hi Dannyboi,

The MD spacer alone won't do anything for the 298 HP 6MT's.

If you can hold tight for a bit Motordyne will be releasing an incredible mod for the VQ.

More details will be available soon.
Tony

The Revup engine is a new feature of the 05 manual transmission cars. The engine has been redesigned, with better key components, so that it has a higher RPM redline limit.

The higher redline limit allows the potential for more HP at wide open throttle.

If you have a CAI, you won't need or be able to use a the Z-tube (which replaces the section from MAF back to the throttle body.

If you do a search, there are varying opinions re the value of a CAI. Many feel that the is little to no benefit over the OEM air-box, except perhaps at the higher rpms.

The z-tube is a good mod for the price, along with a simple K&N panel filter. I tried the Pop-Charger with the Z-tube, and found I lost power. Many go with the Z-tube and the Stillen box, and swear by the combination.

Motordyne Engineering products are well researched and designed, and IMO, their new products are worth waiting for.

I doubt this mod has anything to do with the plenum, the 05's have a better designed unit from the factory...God knows what it could be, I mean it could be some sort of intake mod, a exhaust mod....

Shhh... Its a secret... For now at least... When released, it will be quite a shock and surprise to the Z and G community.

Installed one on the dyno and did the whole scientific controls thing. I can't even say what the gains were it was so good. Probably the best single bolt on you can buy for the VQ.

Guaranteed "NA Mod of the Year 2006!" This thing ROCKS!

Take note of the vendors who try to sly a copy of it after it comes out. They may feel as if they have no choice but to try and copy it.

Patent Pending!
