Just put on my injen CAI a week ago sounds great. However the other night i decided to take a drive because it was colder than normal and i wanted to see what improvement it gave me. Started off got up to the end of 4th gear then let off, as i am braking i notice the car shuts off (just the igition on), so i put the clutch in while i am still rolling and it starts back up fine. I got home and checked the air flow sensor to see if that was the problem but it was fine. This has now happened twice any ideas?

 

That has happened to many with cold air intakes, thats why I didnt get one!

This is a "known issue" with the Injun CAI....why bother with this POS?

 

I'm having a similar problem with injen cai whenever i turn it one it rev to about 1000 rpm and then it goes below 500 rpms and if I'm lucky it goes back up to bout 600rpms, if i'm not lucky it just turns off. anybody have similar problems.

 

I have the Injen and have not had this problem. Is your MAF meter in correctly?
