I personally wouldn't do that..since the increased upper plenum volume
might decrease the air flow speed...
simple fluiid mechanics principle..
However, if you want the best cooling results.. I would say..why not
stick with ur 5/8" MD spacer + a Iso thermal kit?
It has been working great for me at least
